Snowshoe Hare Hunting

Snowshoe Hare hunting in Maine is probably one of the most enjoyable and fun type hunts we offer. Hunting is done with well trained beagle hounds, which is usually fast paced and very exciting.

A Maine Snowshoe hare hunt is a great idea for groups of friends or family especially youth hunters. What's a better way to spend a cool crisp Maine winter day than being out with family or friends listening and waiting for the beagle pack to circle back and bring to gun another fleet footed Snowshoe hare.

If you like the idea of a less formal, more relaxed type hunt this is it! Snowshoe hare hunting is best described as well.. just plain ole fun!

This type of hunting can put your shooting skills to the test because the snowshoe hare is noted for being quick on its feet and maneuvers well in it's environment. We have a very high Snowshoe hare population, and success rates are great in our area. Our beagles are some of the best, hunted often and ready to run and do their job in most all conditions.

Warm clothes, hat, gloves and good insulated winter snow boots are necessary for an enjoyable outing. Come for a day or stay for the week, lodging and meals included in price. Call for group prices and youth hunter discounts. The Snowshoe hare season runs from October to the end of March.

This is an affordable hunt @ $100.00 per man-per day, minimum 2 person with a discount for groups of 6 or more. Lodging and meals are included.

Have beagles? Bring 'em! Can hunt yours or mine. Kennel space is usually available.
